The Guide
My name is Rui Calado, I am portuguese and behind this website dedicated to sea kayak tours in my country.

I have been a very avid kayaker for over 30 years and I am a sea kayak guide, with extensive experience with white water, surf kayak, and sea kayak.
​
I've paddled the entire Portuguese coastline and also paddled more than 120 rivers in Europe, Asia and North and South America and on the sea on 3 Continents.
​
I have dedicated my life to kayaking in many facets including kayak design and construction.
​
I'm a BC Sea kayak Leader, a guide trough the Spanish Kayak Federation and I love to kayak :-)

We are a family-owned and operated business.
What We Offer
Included on the tours price:
Experienced professional guides.
Individual or double kayaks, paddles, life jackets, wet skirts, dry bags and paddling jackets. We use top end gear, (please check "Our gear" section of this website)
Support vehicle for entire expedition. All our luggage is carried on the vans so you don't have to take it on the river.
All meals from lunch on the first day to our farewell lunch on the last day. House wine or bottled water is included. You may select wines from the wine list but you are expected to pay for them.
Bed and breakfast on local hotels or wine farms for the nights.
Not included:
Personal incidental purchases (souvenirs etc.)
Tips other than meals and hotels
Travel insurance
